My name is Mara. I am a happy wife and mom. Now in my late 30’s I spent many years like most everyone else, focused on my studies and then a career. And all the while I was paying off my bills, I sought the comfort of having ‘firmness’ in life.
With my eye on the prize of enjoying success as a retail manager, I knew that planning time and resources were essential. With zero waste of energy.
I knew that a good plan led to the right decisions, positive actions, and eventually – success. With success came that feeling of accomplishment. Above all, I learned that every good plan begins with a purpose.
The being busy and tired bit was just considered a normal part of being a responsible adult.
But always being busy and tired wasn’t making me feel happy.
That got me thinking. Why not apply the same attitude to my personal life?
Rather than just ‘getting through’ the week, why not re-plan my approach to living starting with the purpose? i.e., my happiness.
Because life isn’t an event, it’s a journey.
Along this journey, I learned about Minimalism and Intentional Living. These principles have taught me how to “bookmark” the important aspects of my life and stay focused on those.
And, gradually, my world changed.
My days became less stressful and I found I had more time to do the things that I love.
What a wonderful feeling!
And so I set-up Important Enough to share my journey and what I learn along the way to help you live a happier and more fulfilling life.
I’ll show you how small decisions every day will take you towards the life you truly want to live.
By making small adjustments to your life, you can bring about the big changes as you stick to them day by day.
