Why I can help you
Hi there, my name is Mara. I am a happy wife and mom. In my early 40s now, I’ve spent many years working in the medium to high-end fashion retail industry as a senior manager, side by side with designers, buyers, visual merchandisers, and other fashion experts. But it’s really my direct experience on the front lines of fashion that has given me the greatest know-how in this field.
Over the years, I have worked with women of all ages, sizes, and styles, helping them to feel confident and comfortable in their clothes. I understand that fashion is not one-size-fits-all and that everyone has different body shapes, personal preferences, and lifestyles.
I’ve gained a deep understanding of how to help women find confidence and build a personal style that’s tailored to their unique lifestyle and I’m excited to share my knowledge and expertise with you.
Not about me
In today’s world, social media platforms are flooded with influencers who propose beautiful pictures of outfits that only work for Instagram posts.
I believe that fashion should be accessible to everyone, not just for the camera lens.
With my years of experience, I have developed a unique and practical approach to fashion that focuses on helping women dress for their everyday lives. REAL lives, enabling them to find a style that is unique to them and makes them feel amazing.
This blog is a platform where I share my knowledge and insights into the fashion industry. I provide practical tips on how to dress for different occasions, how to build a wardrobe that works for you, and how to stay on-trend without sacrificing your style (or your bank account!).
I hope to inspire and empower you to embrace your unique style, and to feel confident and comfortable in your clothes.
But that’s not all! While I want to help you discover your signature style, I also want to encourage you to make sustainable fashion choices. As someone who has worked in the fashion industry for years, I’ve seen the negative impact that fast fashion and trendy items can have on our planet and our wallets.
Fast fashion promotes low-cost, trend-driven clothing that encourages us to buy more and buy quickly. Unfortunately, this model is not sustainable, and it leads to spending more and more money on items that will only have a short life. Instead, I suggest building a wardrobe of high-quality, versatile pieces that stand the test of time. Not only will this save you money in the long run, but it’s also a sustainable and conscious way to approach fashion.
Thank you for visiting my blog, and I hope you find the information here useful and inspiring!
